The majority of us feel stressed and worried in response to a difficult situation, but these feelings usually subside when stressors go away. However, sometimes these feelings do not subside, are debilitating, and cannot easily be controlled. This is anxiety.
This course will explore this most common mental health condition. Over five weeks we will be exploring the causes of anxiety, the symptoms, and the disorders which are underpinned by anxiety. Finally, we will look closely at some of the recommended therapies for anxiety.
