Paradox, Cliches and Contradictions

Jenny Connors

This will be facilitated discussions on paradoxes, cliches and contradictions that we have heard most of our lives; such as ‘you have got to be cruel to be kind’ or ‘you can’t judge a book by it’s cover’ and ‘money is the root of all evil.’ Each of the 4 sessions will be given an introductory topic around which discussion will be focused.

Week 1 – Happiness is a choice?

Week 2 – What future for our planet as a living entity?

Week 3 – 5 physical senses, is there a 6th ?

Week 4 – Opportunities that arise from life’s challenges.

Participants will be required to be interactive, drawing from their own life experiences to explore the polarities and complexities of these topics. A sense of humour and respect are essential. Bring a note pad and biro too.

$2 charge per session to cover venue costs.
